Sitting alone in the dark empty room
She ponders the future of the child in
her womb
She wonders what kind of mother she'll
be
and cries out to God upon bended knee
In the back of her mind, she feels so
ashamed
and thinks to herself her character's
defamed
But nothing could be further from the
truth
She's got the love and support she's had
from her youth
And not to mention, so many others
That love and respect her. All her
Sisters and Brothers.
Finally the pretty African maiden
Has cast off the worry that had her so
laden
And she's still as pure as holy water
she's given the gift of life to her
beautiful daughter
